Questionable Content: A guest strip today from Unshelved. And high level catalogers scare me too. I was once told the only people who can read MARC without a stack of reference manuals are high-level catalogers at the Library of Congress and people on crack.
I just do semi-automated repair work on old MARC records, and I've finally learned to just zen out and keep going, or it's like looking into the Arc of the Covenant and things go all melty.
