Working on our digital library applications, which is basically copying and pasting info from a Google form into our circ system. Except for one bit of data, because it will not let us copy and paste a date, and their date of birth is part of the application. That and their phone number are often used as ID verification if they need to renew a card ( Read more... )

But wouldn't it be cool if it were 1892? "So tell me about the 20s!"

As someone who makes typos all the time (I just watched "soemone" get autocorrected as I typed this sentence), I know it's really not right, but I like to imagine.

We're both spoiled and cursed with autocorrect.

My typos tend to be more of a result of editing. I change the structure of a sentence or paragraph, and then tenses don't match, that sort of thing. Still irritating though.
