With my "let's do the best with what we've got" attitude firmly in place, I've started doing small projects that will help improve the look of the library. I did a good deed at the library today. I found a paperback I wanted to read, but the spine was pretty beat up and its pages looked like they were going to come out if anyone else read it. I took it up to the desk and told the librarian about it and he said he'd try to see if they could fix it. It's from the 90's, so I'm not surprised of the damage. I don't know if anything can be done or not.
