So, I'm going on a spring break camping trip to Death Valley. Unfortunately, I have very little room in my car. So I am trying minimalism for a change, and I'm hoping you all can help me out:
Twenty Things You Can't Camp Without
1. Tent
2. Sleeping bag (zero degrees)
3. Mosquito net
4. Sunscreen
5. Bug spray
6. Flashlight/lantern
7. Lighter
8. 3 gallons water
9. Food for three days
10. Pillow
11. First Aid Kit (thanks Jen!)
12. Personal toiletry kit (including baby wipes, hand sanitizer, toothpaste and brush, dish soap, trash bags, tampons, and extra hair miscellanea) (thanks, Cassie/Lou/Angie!)
13. Cute hat (thanks Nessa!)
14. Food & drinks (duh.) (4 dinners, 3 breakfasts, 4 lunches, marshmallows (thanks Cassie! how could I forget!) and assorted beverages)
15. Utensils (knife, fork, spoon, bowl, plate, cup, mug)
16. Camp chair complete with drink holder
17. Duffel bag of clothes (thanks Nessa!)
18. Drum
19. Extra blanket
20.
[edit] 3-25-08 6:20p So there's only one space left on my list. :P I am trying an exercise in self-discipline to stick exactly to this list. I don't need to be hauling around twelve pieces of luggage in the middle of the desert, yo.
