finally
i had quite a morning today, went to the derm's office and finally figured out why my hands being to wrinkle within 1 minute of exposure to water. It's called Aquagenic Wrinkling of the Hands (Palms). Apparently there are only 30 reported cases, so i had the whole henry ford derm department in my exam room looking at my hands, kinda fun. and then my doc asked if she could "present" me and my case at the Michigan Dermalogical Conference in october. if i get better she said she might still want to present me, but if i dont she definatlly does. i was kind of excited, i think it would be cool. but anyways she prescribed some anti-perspirant (Drysol) that i am supposed to put on twice a day. It has helped in a few of the cases and in like 3 of them the condition just disappeared. i'll take either, i am just glad i now know what in the world is wrong with my hands. yay.
