actually, as long as i work in retail i will forever have stories of people so rude that it will force you to question your faith in humanity. if you have any faith in humanity left, that is.
anyway...
i work at IKEA now....i think the last time i updated this i was at sam goody. but all of you reading this should know that anyway.
so you should know how IKEA works. its pretty easy. you go around and look at all the pretty things, and if you want something you look on the price tag to see where you can get it. its pretty much a self-service store. this is why its so cheap. well partially anyway.
SO this guy today walks up to me and says he wants this table and some chairs. i went ahead and explained how to read the tag and where to get it. this made him pissy (i wasnt being a jerk i swear!! i just got there and was still in a good mood). another girl in another department printed him up a list....and thats what he wanted. if he asked me nicely i would have done it for him. if he asked me at ALL i probably would have done it. instead he said "um how come this other girl was able to help me and you cant?" and i said "no its easy see?" and i showed him what to look for and wrote the info down for him and explained that these would be things he would be picking up downstairs. and he was all "um...im going to spend 2000$ here" i SO wanted to say "...and? just because you say youre going to spend 2000$ doesnt mean im going to start kissing youre ass." i HATE it when people think they can buy respect. it doesnt work that way. and if he wants to play that game.... i just sold a 11000$ kitchen. And my usual kitchen is $3000 at least. $2000?? OH EM GEE!!! what a dork.
so yea. in other news my shoulder is going to fall off.
