Old man winter and Mother Nature are having fun screwing with us. Warm temps and cold nights are great though for an awesome sap season. Many sugar houses are steaming away and I suspect that sugar on snow may be an event soon. I am going to make HOMEMADE pancakes with fresh maple syrup tomorrow for the ambulance crew.
Many don't know but our snow banks and yards are under tons of snow. Several local buildings are being crushed. Our rivers are packed with ice and flooding is a huge worry for the area. Areas 45 mins in any direction have little to no snow. In Berlin I witnessed flowers emerging from a flower bed. Spring is coming.
In the world of politics -- I have won another term as selectman. In a landslide victory I am very excited about the results. It conforms that life continues after people try to make it miserable. Now looking at grad school. Law? worth some thought.
Spring Skiing is great -- Xcountry or alpine. Hope folks from the south think about visiting the great snow fields. I know that Tuckermans is on my list of fun!
