What is it with people and them saying stans?
'Cause I'm sick of those non-Arashi fans who kept dissing some people in the comments in Aramatheydidn't. Just because the people prefer one idol better than the other, it make them stans in their views. Kind of stupid if you ask me.
What Brought This On?
The poll HERE. I do NOT understand the purpose of even putting up this poll because everyone has their own preferences. Heck, why are some people so crazy about Justin Bieber while some don't then? Isn't that the same here? I think the person who post this up just wanted some war between fandoms.
Anyway, I was actually already miffed about these whole 'stans' thingy way before but this one takes the cake.Seriously their 'explanation', or whatever they want to call it, was ridiculous. Obviously not everyone will love Ohno and say that he's the best singer in Johnnys. Heck, he's my favourite but I do NOT think he's the greatest. I'd say Sakamoto from V6 or Domoto Tsuyoshi from Kinki Kids are better than him.
What irritates me was that this person insisted on saying that the other idols are better than Ohno AND called those who disagrees, stans. As in they are Arashi stans that's why they will die protecting Ohno even if it's illogical. Isn't that like kind of messed up? It's like I'm calling her/him a hater just because she/he do not agree that Ohno is the best singer. I will not write the username because I'm not flaming her/him. I'm just using this as an example. There were plenty of times where all those other people shoot the Arashi fans.
Just because the Arashi fans do not share the same views makes them those kind of people not worth arguing since they are too crazy about Arashi. *rolleyes* As if they are that sane to comment on it themselves.
Come on!!! Anyone who knew about Johnnys and have been a fan of any groups are insane! Why would a sane person be a fan of some pansy pretty boys anyway? And yes, I'm saying Arashi is one too. Have you guys not seen the way Matsujun, Nino and even Sho moves???
I know I'm kind of overreacting over here but it just irked me whenever people linked us being a stans just because we prefer Arashi over other idols. I think the reason they are doing so is just because they are sick of seeing Arashi everywhere and their own idols are not as advertised as Arashi. Which I could understand since I was annoyed whenever some hosts from Arashi old interviews kept saying they would take Kattun if Arashi didn't do whatever they suggested. ( e.g: Utaban )
And why do everyone assume that all Arashi fans thinks the five men are perfect? ( Well if you don't count the overzealous fans... ) Just in case you forgot, I will say it again.

Sometimes I cringed when I read comments like how *insertname* deserves it or how *insertname* is sOOoo perfect. Come on people... Use your brains. Not everyone loves Arashi. You are just bringing in trouble by fangirling in a place like Aramatheydidn't when you know that place is crawling with throlls and other J-pop/K-pop fans. Just keep it to yourself please.
Arashi is not and never will be flawless. They are humans which means they are imperfect. Which I love them for it, thank you very much. I do not want the idols I love to be all clean and shaven everytime I see them on cameras. Or not saying vulgarities. Or skins so flawless it makes me want to puke from jealousy. Or even having the fittest and muscular bodies which made you think how manly they are.
I loves seeing those pores and eyebags. Those crooked teeth and skinny bodies. Those sucky gay dances they did when they don't give a damn and those times when they sang off-tunes. There is a word for this in case you people do not understand the sheer audacity of these creatures. It's called being a HUMAN.
Seriously I really wish Arashi fans would stop posting about Arashi related news in Aramatheydidn't. I'd rather we celebrate among us Arashi fans and spare the other fans from it. I'd rather no one know about how well Arashi did or what they had achieved. Better them not knowing than having those people insulting Arashi for no good reason.
Like this one here. The person said Arashi should quit making music just because they haven't been producing a quality music for the past 3 years. And that person can't even write proper english. When I corrected him/her about it by saying it's talents and not tarento, she had the cheeks to correct me and called me childish for attacking her for her english! Oh come on! If you want to write english sentences then write them all in english!
Though being a slightly nice person that I am, I did reply like 'Isn't tarento means talents in english? If I'm wrong then I aplologise.' I know I'm being melodramatic but I'm a bit uncomfortable when some people mixed english and japanese romanji in a sentence Lol. It just feels weird to me I guess.
Anyway, back to what that person said, all I can say was bullshit! Yes, I do agreed that Arashi's older songs are way better than the recent ones but to go as far as they should quit singing? My dear, you are either a hater or their songs are just not your type. Because even my friends said Arashi's songs are quite nice and they don't even like or listen to Japanese. So what? ALL my friends are lying to me then? What very good friends I have... =.=

Fandoms can sometime be so irritating. Especially if you hate one group and when the group that you like become all cozy with that group, suddenly you are BFF with them too. Wat the hell? Kind of a hypocrites aren't we?
