I discovered yesterday, when acting on curious impulse, that the second hole in my right ear - the one I gave up as a bad job last October, and therefore removed the earring from and allowed to close up, as it so clearly wanted to do - is still open. It just won't stop hurting! My left feels like it was never pierced at all - except at night after I've been sleeping on it - but my damned right earlobe just keeps on being sore. No - fuck sore - it BURNS. IT BURNS US!!!
