Free Tibet!

You know, with all the news of boycotting at least the 2008 Olympics Introduction, if not the whole thing, I started thinking. I truly loved watching the 2004 Olympics and tried to keep up with it as a daily routine at the time, but I don't think I could thoroughly enjoy this one with everything going on in Tibet and China. This will be the first time China has really come under scrutiny, and with the news of the Tibet protests that happen to be coinciding with the Olympics, people are seeing the Chinese government for what it really is.

We only spread "freedom" and "democracy" in countries that have resources we need. It's a shame that no one really sees the irony in spreading freedom and democracy at the point of a gun, but oh well...

But don't worry about China. American interests are perfectly secured, and no one will upset the balance. The United Statesians will make sure of that.

Freedom and democracy ftw! except in Africa. Let's let Africa die. And South America, don't worry about them either. What? No, China has money. They are fine. But the middle east! Freedom and Democracy forever!

In other news, I don not know if boycotting the olympics is the best thing. Either way, I think it is good that for the first time in a very long time, people will be able to see the Chinese government for what it really has become.
