(no subject)
On my first day back in Chicago, I heard from emileeeee that she actually checks this LJ page sometimes. Another Emily I know who's going to be in MN and away from the Bay Area for 2 months is now a part of blog world so that she can keep in touch with friends. So, since I now have a readership of, say, about five (countable on one hand!), maybe I'll start updating more often (cross your fingers)! :)
It's so nice to be home and know that the only thing I have to do is hang out. While I was here, I had a beach bbq with some high school friends - it was like a 5-year reunion!!!!!!! That's the nice thing about Chicago, we have this thing that's called Lake Michigan, and along the coast of this thing called Lake Michigan, landfill was brought in, and fine pieces of sand covered the landfill to make something call beaches (without the hassles of sea salt water and marine animals!). It's beautiful, I tell you, and it's the perfect summer thing to do.
I wish more people from the Bay Area would come back to Chicago with me during the summertime.
I think I want to write more about Chicago and this trip later.
