What a slice of life
I visited my grandparents' house today! I love visiting them and asking them about old times.
I got my grandma talking about her childhood days, and it is so incredibly fascinating. She was in chij, I think? And my granddad was in st pats. And they met each other at age 16! The two schools would always hold dancing parties, where groups of them would meet up and they would just dance! Like, y'know, the 60s' dances- swing and all. Can you imagine!! That was their after-school entertainment. (: It's really striking how times are so different now. I mean, back in the day, they drank sweet drinks and danced as a social activity! It's so quaint from modern perspective! Too bad we'll never get to experience that~
