Why do I love The XX so much?
I really love this video! (:
Look at the synthesizer! Total coolness. (: I want to own something like that!!! The dude is so cool, just pushing all his buttons.
Their voices are both so smooth and fit together well.
The guitar's not complicated at all. And they just have that synthesizer, guitar, bass and keys.
When I use my electric guitar, I always end up wanting a tone like what The XX uses. It's clear and crisp and clean, simple. The bass is sexy.
I think this person on Youtube put it quite aptly:
