That is until I realized just how much processing power is required to view/edit/convert 1080p video. I finally finished getting the BD of Code Geass seasons 1&2 for a Dr. Horrible concept I've had for a while. As a test to see how my PC would handle editing 1080p I thought I'd try it out on an idea that was suppose to be a quicky, Code Geass to Pizza Power, a song from the Turtle's live concert series back in the 90s. (

That was until I tried to load all 50 episodes into premier, which crashed after importing about 25 of the episodes. It was just too much processing power to even load the files. So I decided to go the quick and dirty route and convert each episode to HQ xvid files (comes to about 3 gig each.) The process has been running since 8 Tuesday night and I'm only 20 episodes in. So what was suppose to be a quick test of my 1080p editing ability turned into something that would take quite a while to setup.
The upshot of all of this is that I will have source I can work with for my Dr. Horrible project and wont have to setup the source for it again. Hopefully the episodes will be finished converting by the weekend so I can sit down and work on this project that I'd like to see released soon. I really want to start on my Twelve Kingdoms project in hopes it'll be done in time for AWA Pro. I already sat down and re-watched the parts I will most likely grab the majority of the source from, I'm just waiting on disk 1 and 7 from Netflix to rip since there are disk errors on my copies which have stopped me from being able to rip it.
Keep a watch out, I should have a new video ready for release after this weekend and a new hentai vid ready by Colossal.
P.S. I really need to invest in a quad core if I want to really start working with HD footage. Hopefully soon I'll have the ability.
