USSW IX: What is the most useful piece of technology to you?
I think computer is the most useful piece of technology to me. Almost everyone have at least 1 computer in their house as it is essential for modern living. Without a computer, you cannot print even if you have a printer. You cannot even access elearn litespeed to get your homework during the holiday. You would also not be able to do alot other things.
Although most of the time i use my computer to play games, it is very important to me if i have work that needs to be done on the computer, for example this ussw that i am doing now. Without a computer, i would need to go my friend's house just to finish this piece of work.
These information that i will be listing down is from the Wikipedia, i just kind of put them in my own words. A computer is a machine that manipulates data according to a list of instructions. The very first computers was innovated as early as the 1940s, thats about 68 years ago! Computers at that time is not as efficient and small as modern computers. Computers of the 1940s have the size of a large room and use alot more electricity than modern computers, and of course it is alot slower than modern computers. I am glad we have such efficient computers now.
