Im back home. I spent the the four day break in Watkins Glen, New York with my friend Lauren. I had an awesome time, its like the perfect type of town where they would film a WB show. Its a town filled with pretty houses with ample backyards. Theres a huge river with boats in the dock and the "countryside" consisted of enough vineyards to intoxicate all of New York... I got some much needed rest and relaxation, but there was a bit of partying too.
On our way to Watkins Glen on Friday I saw cows in person for the second time ever... On Friday night we went to Homecoming at the local high school. Thats definitely something I had never done before. Im pretty sure there was a homecoming in my high school, but it just wasn't as big a thing as it is in small towns (or in the south).
I spent most if not all of Saturday night under the influence of more than one substance in the town (or city) of Corning. ( Which may I just say is the only way to spend Saturday nights) I was at this guy Jamie's house. Jamie was hilarious, he seems to have some type of obsession with Asian girls which seems to make him believe that most of his ex girlfriends were at least part Asian...
On Sunday Night Lauren cooked food for us and let me just say I am so happy I went home with her. She made Pasta with Alfredo sauce, broccoli with cheese and french fries from scratch (im talking straight from their potato form). The rest of the time I spent hangin out with Lauren and her amazingly cool friends. I'm extremely happy I didn't go home to the parental units. Everythings depressing there.
Good Fight and good night
