George Carlin is Dead.
It's only fitting I found this out from Patrick.
Carlin was such a part of high school for me. Without him, I would've failed 10th Grade English (I did a final on him). A love and appreciation for the sarcastic wit was one of the things that brought Patrick and I together. We even saw him together in Concord in '03. My graduation cap had quotes from Carlin pasted all over it.
I'm now kicking myself in the ass for not paying more attention to when he was coming to Tallahassee and catching the show back in January. Who knew it would be one of his last?
