Well,
I must say that live journal has been sucking a lot lately. Other than
that, the season that I both dread and happily anticipate seems to be
hitting a little early this year. Every year for work, I am forced into
social hibernation from roughly the end of November till sometime in
March. We like to call it the remote start season. Anyway, it is
starting already and it is barely into October. This is good for
business, but a little on the bad side for other things that are
happening in my life right now. I just talked to my boss and he wants
me to give him my weekend schedule so that he can start booking
saturdays. Over time here I come. For the past couple of years we have
had winter help. This year we don't. Between two of us we average
around 5-6 hundred remote starts over the course of a year. That number
has been growing steadily since I started with JT Sound. I am
interested to see what our numbers are this year. Enough of this boring
business mumbo jumbo.
Things for me on a more personal level are going quite well. My issues
from earlier are lessening more and more each week. I have lost more
weight again and I am pretty pleased with the direction this is going.
I feel better about who I am and how I feel. Now I just need to start
working on this chain called nicotine that I wear around my neck. I am
not ready yet to tackle this step. I am thinking that I may have to
wait until after the busy season. This way I don't have to deal with
added stress to an already stressful time of year.
Money is still an issue that I am getting better at dealing with. Like
I said above, the over time is for my picking now, so things will be
getting caught up soon. I hope.
