In death, we are selfish.
When someone loved passes on, we cry because WE miss them.
Not because they hurt. And all of their pain tethered here has been freed. All the pain lashing them to this earth has been cut.
And when one commits suicide, to whose gain is it but their own? A selfish act? Yes, but also for the mourners who lack the bravery to challenge those cords of their own pain.
