Three more bright yellow
tomatoes--I ate them with my dinner. The dill and the laurel are still
dead, but several of the bushes that Thomas cut down to 6" stumps in
the front yard are leafing out again--including a camellia that I hadn't
wanted him to remove but that he couldn't see for the surrounding
foliage. Made the (only slightly unnerving) trek out to the back 40
(weeds over my head again) to see if the tangerine was dead, too--it
isn't, but I need to get some water to it. Did find a volunteer squash
vine with a big ol' Italian squash on it. God knows what else is out there....
