Optimistic
It's been a long time since I updated and just as long since I talked to the guys online that I still like to think of as friends even though I hardly have time for my Fiancee any more.
Well... just 15 mins ago I got some good (read: life changing) news and thought of you guys straight away. If you know what I do for a living then this will make slightly more sense probably, but just read on anyway and dont feel bad - I tent not to tell many people for personal reasons.
Well, I'vce been temping for ages and a few months ago decided that I'd be better off quitting and moving to London to get a real job. I moved but never quit. Today my patience paid off and I am going to be made permanent with all the benefits and perks of being prmanent at a large company PLUS a big raise, around 60%.
Of course it also means more work and less time for people, but my new years resolution is going to find more time for the friends I dont talk to enough.
The upshot of my getting a permanent position is I'm thinking of moving back to Reading just 3 months after I moved to london, just as soon as my fiancee can find a job here.
