Friends Only?
Well, there's far too much to update. I'm still slacking on all of May...which hopefully I'll actually get to. Schlitterbahn was pretty badass. Update on that later....maybe.
Just keeping this one short and sweet.
I'm thinking about making my livejournal "Friends Only." Meaning, in order to read my LJ, you'll need your own account and need me to add you as a friend before you can see it (at least I'm pretty sure that's the way it works). I've been thinking about it for a while now, but never thought anyone really read this damned thing who wasn't already on my buddy list...and wasn't Ravi, Linda, or Marco. But apparantly a lot more people read this than I thought. Mostly friends from work. Marcus had mentioned that he reads my LJ that one time at Brandyn's, I think Sam mentioned it before, and now Kristy just today mentioned that she'd read my LJ from back in the day (from before we stopped talking...or when we stopped talking I should say). I imagine that wasn't very good, seeing how I probably said a few things on here that I shouldn't have. I actually feel pretty bad about it. And now that I think about it, she'd even told me that back then that she was having a really rough time. I was just being really stupid about it and probably just made things worse.
Basically, what it's coming down to is more and more people are reading about my private life...and I just don't know who actually does, and I find that kinda messed up. Granted, I generally don't mind people knowing about my personal life...it's really not all that interesting anyway...but when someone I hardly talk to knows a lot about me/what I'm doing and I don't know that they know that? (Follow me? :P) It's just a "little" creepy. It might not sound that bad to you, but just imagine it being you...and you have this stalker who is reading all about you and your current events. Of course, I'm not saying anyone's a stalker, it's just on that level of creepiness. Better yet...watch the anime movie Perfect Blue. It's a tad exaggerated of my situation, but it's the same general idea...I suppose. Either way, it's a good mind-fuck film :)
So, the whole "Friends Only" thing will go into effect soon. So, if you find my journal interesting enough to follow, start an LJ if you haven't already, and contact me about it. Most of the people who are reading don't comment on my posts, so now's a good time to speak up. Everyone who I've already listed as a friend will still be able to read my posts as usual. This will only become a slight hassle for those who don't have LJ. And for those same people, you might wanna think about starting your own anyway. It's a good way to keep track of events in your life and still keep in touch with friends. It actually gets quite addicting :)
Well, this isn't as short as I wanted it to be and Ravi wants to watch Naruto...
Oh, just thought I'd toss in my schedule for next week. Working 8 days straight. This is going to kick ass. Heavy on the sarcasm there... Always free after work though. Generally off after 10. Tuesday I'm free after 2. Alcohol Sales Training. Whoo! 4 hours of 70s training videos...
