I have my dissertation presentation this week, possibly Wednesday so here I am in the library checking Lj
Its been quite a jolly week:
- ally getting me obscenely drunk on red wine (yuk). I look magnificent with a beard, jenny informs me I was sporting a newgate fringe.
- Emma's birthday celebrations at the ceilidh, it was good to have Tom K back with us, wasn't the same without his true folky-ness around.
- I've added another pete to my collection of petes; they're almost as numerous as alexs.
- The first bbq of the season was a delicious affair the other evening and I got to know a lovely little terrapin.
- Sunday was a success of cinema and cooking (jen and I will be culinary goddesses soon enough) 300 was marvellous, sat next to jenny and who did we spy? "is that who I think it is?"... "I think it might be"..."it is!!" faramir being all butch and lovely. And out of all the nations of the English speaking world, of course you'd get a Scott to be king of the Spartans.
Today is truly sunny and nice and I feel like seeing people (cheaply) tonight.
