My Doctor is a F*cking Twat
I just want to say thanks to all the peoples who have offered their support through all of this... You all rock my doveys!
Anyways, I went to see the Doctor on Friday, after I got my test results back... And the news is not so good.
My Thyroid level's are normal, no diabeties, no anemia, no iron deficiancy, no Mono... And a whole list more of no's. My cholesterol's a little high, but that's not what's causing my lethargic state.
Frankly my doctor is a twat who has no idea what he's talking about. I looked up Chronic Fatigue Syndrome on the internet, and I'm an almost text book case. It has a little test, and if you have for or more of the 7 symptoms, you more than likely have the syndrome. I have 6.
But my doctor has decided that it's just another manifestation of Depression, even tho I've had depression for almost ten years now, and it's only in the last 4 years that I've been feeling so lethargic. He reckons it's got something to do with my age. But what normal 20 year old doesn't want to go out with her friends because she knows that she'll be exhausted for the next month or so??
So he's put me on this ridiculous pill for a 6 week trial. If it works, I'm to go on it for up to 9 months. If not, he's going to have to have a look at other options.
And btw... I've had 6 Woodstock Bourbon and Cola 440 ml's, to drink in the last couple of hours. So I'm not really feeling the best right now. I guess I'm just a little pissed off.
On a brighter note, I've got all my Christmas Shopping done! Yay!
And Emz, hope everything goes well for you hon! Hopefully it is just your iron levels.
