Day and fricken night
Holy shit. Complete change in this ER tonight. We had twin 3 year olds come in becuase they "weren't acting right". They probaby took an unknown amount of unknown meds. I was still in GT, and kinda walked into it trying to find someone I think. They told me to just go get the other one, and took her back. They were in two rooms next to each other, everyone working in teams on each young one. It wasn't long before the littler one took a turn for the worst, and was intubated shortly after. About 15 minutes later the brother took the same turn. Just when you think the whole thing is all over, Hussein runs out from CT calling Dr. Kim, saying the tube on the girl fell out, so they had to re intubate. All of the "acting strangly" started around 8, yet we didn't get them till around 11, 11:30...
I guess Mindy was saying that the kids were running into the glass doors of our er.
Something just isn't right with them, and the parents weren't exactly very helpful.
