Kubo-chan should have been back a half an hour ago, at least. Seriously, did he have to go all the way to Tokyo to get that CalorieMate or what?
Sheesh.
Video games kept him distracted for a while, but he's gotten tired of getting stuck at one particular level, and decides that now would be a good time to head out to the balcony for some fresh air.
The last time Tokito checked, the door to the balcony led to... well, the balcony, duh, and not to the Nexus. Now, however, there's a nice portal that leads to a part of the Nexus that he doesn't recognize at all.
He tenses at first, as he's still really not used to ending up in odd places randomly like this, and then whirls around to look behind him. The portal has closed behind him, naturally, so he sighs, reaching to button up his shirt.
At least he has his shoes on, because now he's gotta go find one of those portal-maker-things.
