Welcome to Egypt where traffic laws don't apply and Nestle makes water

I'm in Egypt right now at this shitty internet cafe that costs 4 pounds an hour (about 90 cents) because I'm too tired to go anywhere but don't want to go back and watch Arabic tv yet.

Some quick observations about egypt: (shift key is very difficult to use)
-when they say developing country, they mean developing country. its piss poor, so dirty, cheap, loud, crazy, overcrowded, polluted, and worth mentioning again- so dirty. but, it is amazingly vibrant and the people are so nice.
-when they say you can smoke everywhere...they mean everywhere...im smoking now. i smoke in grocery stores, restaurants, hallways, elevators...and cigarettes are 4 pounds a pack (about 90 cents). brands tried so far- cleopatra, viceroy, fame (imported from UAE), and L&M.
-for breakfast i had fuul, pepsi, naan, ta'amariyya (fried falafel) and fries for 3 pounds (70 cents). For lunch I had pear juice, some word i couldn't pronounce dish of rice and lentils, pepsi, and a cookie for 5 pounds (1 dollar). For dinner i had pizza, hummos, pita, and shisha for 20 pounds (4 dollars). tomorrow im going to a fancy restaurant for what i hear 100 pounds (20 dollars)...and its 5 star.

those are the most important i think. i freakin' love it here. that's about it.
