Update At Last.
Ok... so an update (finally)
I've been away for a while. I did 4 weeks of recruiting duty in Philly after finishing API. It was fun. Its amazing the amount of headache you can cause by saying "Hey, Petty Officer Recruiter, I want to be a Navy pilot!" It's also amazing how some people will completely do something stupid on an application and completely screw themselves. Like this one kid... applied for pilot. Then lied.. yes I said lied... on his application. What an idiot. He was a shoo-in for it. But now, he'll be lucky is the board even looks at the application packet.
Enough of that. I also got to spend 4 weeks with Barbara. Was mucho fun-o. Didn't too a whole lot, but it was cool just being with her for that long. Easter, we went to her church.. Latin Mass is cool.. but long. Then we went up to north Jersey to hang out with her family. I honestly feel more at home with her family than I do with my own. Its actually like that with some of my friends too... and its a shame. You should always feel welcome in your own family. But anyways, that was a good weekend. Mostly, we just chilled and watched movies. We wanted to go to the Philly Art Museum, but we couldn't find the time. It would have been way cool because that was the first place we went together.
As for my progression through flight school, I started Primary Flight Training this past Monday. Not going to elaborate on that now... I'll do that at the end of each week, and when I'm flight-side, at the end of each flight.
