Halloween on the street

*this article edited for TMI*
I got off work early friday, amazingly enough, and was ready to go. I landed in St. John's sometime around 10:30 and after ditchin my stuff at O'Leary's I was on the street in no time. It didn't take long to meet up with bro either, he was already on the same side of the street as I.
It wasn't a bad start, there was a decent amount of people on the street. We hit O'Reilly's, Lotties, Peddlers and Sundance. I met up with a friend from way back in Peddler's and after some TMI I had spent the night at her place. No sleep.
I won't even get into the condom debacle.
I called bro in the mornin for a ride and he asks the obvious question.
"No, we stayed up all night discussing 14th Century English Art."
Pete to O'leary in the back: "They snuggled all night."
O'Leary: "He did? I'm gonna kick him in the balls."
Hilarity ensued.

Saturday. The temporary tattoo's didn't arrive but luckily Pete's friend was able to use a felt tip marker very well. Her work was dead on. So with the brothers as the MacManus Brothers, O'Leary as the Mask and Kenny as Captain Planet we were ready to hit the town. The costumes were pretty cool. To a group of Shredder, Dr. Zoidburg and Starscream to the entire posse of Sesame Street, the costumes ranged from the obvious Death to the more obscure Marilyn Manson in that one video he did or people as anime or video game characters. Wario and Waluigi are ruined for me, however, as one couple were dressed up as them and were makin out in the corner in Peddlers at one point.
Uhhhh......yeah.
So I met up with my friend from the previous night and some of her friends, one I apparently know but can't remember for the death of me. She even made a comment on my hair so I knew she knew me, unfortunetly through all the people in Marystown, Canso, Sackville, Basic and Victoria she got pushed out. Oh well. We managed to stay at the bar dancing longer but eventually retired to her place.

Sunday. A short walk and another sleepless night later, I again call O'Leary who invites the both of us to food and a movie, Across the Universe. It was good until the acid trip and then it was all messed up to me. That and I'm not a Beatles fan. I can't say it was bad though. We were back at O'Leary's, watched Boondock Saints, got some supper and O'Leary dropped us off at her place. Hey! At least I managed to get a nap in this time, although we were at her place a lot earlier. She had class in the morning.....she didn't go to it though. Hahaha.

All in all, a great trip with no regrets. Maybe next year. Hahaha!
