Semester Wrap-Up

I have officially finished all of my finals! My car is all packed and I just need to add my last few things when I wake up in the morning!

This weekend was a relaxing whilrwind. Dragon Age Girl clung to me pretty much the entire time. On Friday we hung out and she played some Dishonored (one of my top 5 all time favorite games). My other adopted duckling, as the two of them like to call themselves (they call me Mama Duck), hung out with us for a while, too. On Saturday, Dragon Age Girl and I packed up a bit and we played Sims 3. I forgot how much fun creating sims and building houses was. We grabbed dinner at this place on Main Street called Marley's Gotham Grill. Pretty typical burger joint food, but they are also known for their wings. They offer over 133 flavors (I think it's over 150 now) of wings! I really liked their fried mac and cheese, and Dragon Age Girl said they have the best fish and chips she has ever tasted. On Sunday she came over and worked on homework while I packed. We put most of my stuff in my car, then grabbed chinese food to bring back. We watched The Nut Job while we ate. It was a cute little movie, reminiscent of Over The Hedge. Afterward we played some more Sims, then watched some episodes of The Saddle Club. I figured I am going to be surrounded by pony-crazy preteen girls all summer, so I should probably watch it just in case. Dragon Age Girl was so excited to watch it. i was rather amused.

Today was a rather long day. I headed to the barn around noon and moved everything from my locker to my car. They had a big barbecue, too, even though only 20 or so people showed up. Afterward, they gave out some awards and a scholarship, then showed a bunch of slideshows for the teams. They showed a slideshow for Doc, too, since he is leaving. He runs his own large-animal vet business, which is a 24/7 job in itself. On top of that he was also teaching a few classes a semester and working at the barn for 4 hours twice a week. Needless to say, that's an awful lot for one person to do. We are all pretty sad to see him go. I had my last final after the slideshows finished. When I got back to campus, I helped my other little freshman (soon to be sophomore!) friend pack up her car, then she helped me with the last of my stuff. We are both leaving at the same time in the morning.

I feel like I had a lot more to say. Mostly rambling, I'm sure. Finished rewatching Archer on Hulu, and just started The Venture Brothers. I really enjoyed Archer, but I'm not sure how much I will like this one.
