Nene is a Slacker
My friend messypeaches is visiting me this week. Which is where I've been. Off doing fun things. Which is why you haven't seen me online. At. All.
We went to San Francisco Japan Town and to Good Vibrations to see the absurdly expensive sex toys and the vibrator museum. We went to the movies and saw Stardust which was awesome and I advise all you Princess Bride fans to go see it immediately. We also watched the Death Note live-action movies. Yay L! The movies have a much more satisfying ending than the manga.
And we've been eating like royalty. Sushi at Sushi Sam's in San Mateo, and at Higuma in Redwood City, and ramen in Japantown, and tonight it's shabu shabu. For breakfast today we had fresh strawberries and raspberries from Webb Ranch, with clotted cream and toast and apricot jam and bacon. Momo is a good cook, and I am loving it.
Anyway, we started a story about carrot juice, which we need to work on more. And I'm not dead. In fact, I'm enjoying being alive, despite still dealing with pain. Momo is also kind and patient with me when I have to go lie down with the heating pad, but that's not nearly as interesting as the going to movies and stuff.
I expect to be back to my usual schedule on Wednesday-ish. See you then, and perhaps a bit before.
