Sick, dammit.

Dec 20, 2008 01:45

This evening my guts got into an uproar at choir rehearsal. I came home (rehearsal ending early because I was obviously not well), took Immodium, and curled up with some TV. Freezing cold. Freezing cold so much I'm shaking while wearing knit pajamas, a big hoodie with the hood pulled up, a polar fleece bathrobe, polar fleece hand-warmers, and sheltering under a knitted afghan and a polar fleece blanket.

Room temp is what should be a pleasant 70.5.

Achy in every joint and muscle. Stomach not really happy, though somewhat settled by the medicine. Temp 101.1 (38.3) and rising.

Conclusion: Sick. Dammit.

I got my flu shot in early November. I should not be sick with something flu-like. And I have this big day Sunday planned. Soloing at church, acting in another play during service, potluck after service, then drive to San Francisco to have dinner and go to Nutcracker ballet with friends.

I can't get sick right now.

*shivers and feels miserable*

Yes, I've taken Tylenol. Yes, I'm drinking water and/or tea.

I feel like hell. I seriously hope tomorrow I wake up with this whole little episode a distant memory. amethyst73 and the folks from choir, sorry if I exposed you to something.
