*hugs* and more *hugs*. I don't know what you are going through right now, but I surely know how it feels to be depressed. Sometimes, you simply can't pull yourself out of it. You have to accept that a wave of pain or sorrow or despair is crashing on you right now. It sucks, and it hurts and it's awful, but you can't control the wave. All you can do is try to keep kicking and stay alive until you get more air.

At least that's how it feels to me. The work is a life-long process, but there is also an out of control cycle to it as well. Maybe it is hormonal--those little pills don't mean that you have no hormone cycles at all. Maybe not. I used to have pretty much the same 2-3 year depression cycle when I was on the pill as I had before it and as I have after it.

Anyway, I'm probably not helping. Just know that there are people out here who know exactly what it feels like. We may not know each other well and I may not know exactly what's going on in your life, but I have your back, and I care. So, keep fighting as best you can, but try to remember it's not just a fight. There IS joy. There IS love. There IS true friendship.

PS Sorry for all the edits. Apparently I can't type.
