Hello everyone, my name is Sohma Yuki and I'm new here at this community. I'm 16 years old and I unfortunatly live with my 2 cousins and our good friend, Honda-san. She's the one who suggested that I join this group; I always feel slightly uncomfortable around people, so what better way to make it over this little hurdle than on the internet ( Read more... )

Another Yuki? Someone out there is certainly trying to confuse me.

Hullo, however, and welcome? I'm Remus Lupin.

Thank you Remus.

Yes, there are indeed a lot of Yuki's here, but I'm the only Yuki who can turn into a ratso I'm sorry for the confusion. I've never met someone named Remus before, is it a common name where you come from?

...a rat. I had a ...friend who could do that one. *frowns*

Ah, no, no it's not common here either.

Er...I'm sorry to have brought up an unpleasant memory for you, but I assure you I don't turn into a rat by choice; if it were up to me I would be just another normal teenaged boy

It's alright. He just. Isn't a friend anymore.

Okay, I have to ask. Why do you turn into a rat?

And I can understand not wanting to, hell, I turn into a bloody wolf once a month entirely against my will.

I'm sorry to hear that

As far-fetched as this sounds, I am possessed by the vengeful spirit of the rat from the Chinese Zodiac. It's the Sohma family curse: thirteen of us are possessed with an evil spirit, and it causes us to transform into our respective zodiac animals whenever we are embraced by a member of the opposite sex. Crazy, isn't it? I don't know why we are like this, and I don't know how we can break the curse, but I am hopeful that one day we will be free.

Please try to keep this a secret Remus-san, if the head of my family finds out that I'm telling people about our family, she he will be furious.

You turn into a wolf? So that means you were bitten by a werewolf?

...That's really quite bizzare, and I wish you the best of luck in all that. I promise I won't go spreading your story about. You have my word.

And yes, a very long time ago.

Thank you Remus-san, I appreciate that.

And I'm sorry about your bite. I can't imagine what it must be like. Is the transformation very painful?

It's no problem.

Incredibly so, yes. No one has ever really managed to come up with a way to lessen that bit. All the bones...breaking and rearranging. That's painful regardless of what you try to do.

And yet, I've been doing this for. Sweet Merlin, something like 30 years now. So I've had the time to get used to it. Perhaps I can be a bit jaded with the world from time to time, but all things considered. I cope well enough. And eat a lot of chocolate.

Do you like chocolate?

Why yes, I do like chocolate. My friend Honda-san gave me some very delicious chocolate this past Valentine's Day ^_^

What's your favorite kind of chocolate?

Ah, good. A sane one. I've recently met a girl who detests chocolate and have been slightly off-kilter about it.

I'm always asked this and I always have trouble answering, because really, it depends on why I'm eating it! For taste, some of Honeyduke's Finest milk chocolate would certainly win out everytime. Something about the magical input gives it an extra little oomph. For amusement? Chocolate frogs. For convenience? Cadbury. For something not purely, simply chocolate? Toblerone.

See? I have many favorites.

That's wonderful Remus-san!

Have you ever had Japanese chocolate? I highly recommend chocolate Pocky, it's addictive!
