One minute you are playing basketball the next you're lying on the floor dead. Thats how it was for Chris today. He was playing all out in my PE Basketball class when he attempted to steal the ball and collapsed. Then he was lying on the floor.. motionless. The pe teachers come over and and flip him over... his eyes half open and his arm twitching. Later his eyes closed and he was motion less once again. Called 911. The teachers initiated first aid.. CPR.. then we were told to evacuate the gym. we did but we were outside waiting.. wondering if he would be ok. hoping hes still alive... so later on in school they announce that Chris was dead.. passing away at 11:45 am. You we are dedicated basketball player and you will be greatly missed at EGHS. Rest in peace Chris Marshall, rest in peace...
