Turns out this still exists. Huh.
Life is super different from the end of 2012, go figure. I got a job in Oakdale in April of 2013 and subsequently moved back to Roseville. After a year (and a promotion) I moved to Oregon for 7 months to work in the manufacturing plant of the company, then moved back, this time to Maplewood. Dec 2014 I had my second surgery, returned briefly to work and had my final j-pouch surgery in Feb 2015. Just about 3 years with a bag... turns out I didn't think pessimistically enough when I guessed I'd have it for two years ;P
I bought an awesome townhome in Oakdale in August 2015. It's super great and the chinnies have their own room!
The entire business unit I was a part of got canned in mid April of this year, so I started looking for jobs. Well, to be honest, I'd been looking since October of the previous year when the first round of layoffs happened.
Anyway, today I am working for a company in Winona (travelling SUCKS), have two renters looking after my house (which is a bit stressful for a number of reasons), and might be going to Taiwan next week.
Also, my j-pouch is working great! I'm bag-free and loving it!
