Time for a TMI announcement
I can now nurse with no hands. Against the lactation consultants advice, who insisted on me using both hands. Screw her, all her ideas/positions gave me painful nipples and she wouldnt help me get a pump. BOOYAH lady... Thank god for my boppy, one of the best baby investments yet.
Yay for being able to type!
On another note, shes now been home for over a week. I can say that, although tiring, its been one of the coolest, most exciting week of my life. Although I feel like I can get NOTHING other than taking care of her done. Im still run down and tired. But for the last few days have not been on meds besides tylenol and ibprofin. Although I dont think it was the meds that made me feel so zombie-ish as more of lack of sleep. Last 2 nights she has slept awesomely(knocks on wood). A couple people have offered to come help me out, spend the daytime with me so im not alone etc and Ive been turning them down. It was nice having Nato home from Thursday-Tuesday to help me out, especially on the painful days. But it was even better finally getting some alone time with her.
Anyways, enough about all that crap.
