(no subject)
I know I haven't posted in like a month, and that I haven't been leaving comments either. They set-up an internet filter at work, so now I can't go to any "social" sites. And when I get home after a long and stupid day at work, I just don't have the motivation to listen to the world complain. However, I'm still here, and I still love you all and all that crap. I actually have pictures to show you people. I still need to put up the photos from my road trip with Kristin to California.
I went impromptu camping with Kristin last weekend. Summers have always upset me because I never seem to do anything. I inevitably sit around the house smoking pot or going for 12 hour long walks because I just have nothing else to do besides work. This summer, instead of sitting around playing video games, we are going to try to make some type of camping a regular weekend thing. We've already proved that it is as simple as driving on logging access roads until we can't go any further and then building a fire and roasting chunks of meat like marshmallows. Coming back and having to go to work sucks though.
I'm going to miss this sunny and brilliant weather that we've been having. This is perfect, if just a little cold still. It's supposed to go back to "showers" and 50 degree weather again tomorrow. Let's hope this summer is better than last summer. Last summer it was muggy and overcast and grey until like August. Granted, it didn't rain, and it wasn't cold, but I like the actual sunshine. Yes it may be hot and bright and sometimes inconvenient, but it's the freaking sun. What did you expect?
*sigh* now I have to go off to work. I need to find some type of employment that pays as well as this job, but either lets me work from home, or work from travel.
