Update and good news
Well, my 22nd birthday passed last week, and I had a pretty good time. Family dinner, and good food and libations with my sister and my boyfriend. Rather ambivilant about the significance of this birthday though. I can't seem to decide how I feel about it.
The good news is, I recieved my acceptance letter from UCI today. I applied for the winter quarter (the one that starts at the end of January), and got in. Im very excited about this, mostly because if I failed to get in, I would have had to delay my education untill next fall, which would in turn delay the rest of my life. I finished all the classes I needed for transfer and for my AA this past summer, so now I just have to submit my petition for graduation (so that I can do the whole cap and gown deal, since I missed the chance in High School). I would have rather gone to Santa Barbra, but they didnt open thier admissions for Winter 08. Still UCI is a good school, and Im happy with this outcome.
