That and the lack of general city-like things. Cars, tall buildings, angry people. That sort of thing.

I had a, uh, an internship lined up. With an author. There was a book tour involved and we were supposed to start it in LA.

I'm guessing we're not in the U.S. anymore, then, because I think the entire country has smoking bans. Or most of it, anyways. I know New York does.
