[ sookie stops short for a second, seeing that familar blond head and broad shoulders in her way. she considers turning back and going to rejoin bill in bed, but lord knows eric would only take that to mean something it doesn't. like she's scared of him or something silly like that. ]

[ now that was a tart, tart tone of voice. but instead of walking by she's stopping just short and tapping one foot against the sand, bare feet hardly making a sound. ]
