Eiko remembers, like she does so many things, just what Ramon said. These things are Regenerators, their only weak spots are Las Plagas. And the parasites run hot.
She lets trained reflexes take over, and the PRL starts to dart blue beams into the mass of the thing, aiming for the wriggling things within the bloated, rubbery flesh.
For someone so passionate about things, she seems oddly calm and controlled.
The PRL makes short work of the two plagas in the front of the Regenerator. However, there's a third and possibly a fourth that are around on its back.
It squeals with anger as it lurches closer, pivoting to face Eiko no matter which way she dodges.
Eiko palms a ball from her belt, taps a stud, and tosses it over the Regenerator. Two seconds later it flares brightly for a moment in the PRL frequency. While not enough to burn or kill, it'll probably stun it - and maybe one or another - enough to get the upper hand.
Yes, the creature is stunned. But its long arms dart out, groping blindly for whatever it can grab at, intent on pulling the mad scientist close to take a bite out of her.
The operative term here is 'blindly'. Which is just fine. She drops and rolls, trying to get behind it to get the ones in the back. Even one would be nice.
It occurs to her that some nice explosive might be nice now, but she's a tad busy.
Explosives might be a good idea when they're not in such close quarters.
In the meantime, the creature continues to shamble at where Eiko used to be, leaving, at least for a few valuable moments, its back exposed and vunerable.
Indeed, the blasts take out the remaining Plaga, the monster lurching back with every shot. Then it bellows as its body suddenly starts bulging and rippling in spots and then...BLORCH. The Regenerator's upper torso splatters all over the room, the legs falling limply to their knees, then the ground.
The one that was first in the door is the first to go down.
Or so it would seem.
After a long moment of wriggling and hissing, it keeps trying to push itself through the webbing. And is sort of successful. Considering that Spidey's webbing has the tensile strength of steel cables, this is impressive.
Well, impressive if you forget it's trying to kill you.
Those parasites will keep pushing this thing until they're destroyed.

Spidey watches the creature ... whatever struggle for a few moments, arms crossed.
"Well, I tried to be nice," he sighs, leaning down and forwards. With the soft, sliding sounds of well-maintained machinery twisting around itself - sniksniksnik - he strikes the halfway helpless ganado with his waldoes, aiming straight for every parasite he sees.
"Thank god for waterproofing," Spidey whimpers. His mask filters out the smell, but he still feels a gag reflex and turns away quickly to see if anyone else needs help.
Derek raises an eyebrow at the grayish thing shambling towards him. He can hear the squirming of the parasites under the skin of the regenerator coming after him, and although he can't pinpoint their exact locations, he has an idea.
The hunter makes a decidedly vampire-like hiss as he draws the combat knife he rarely uses out of the left sleeve of his jacket. The katana, regrettably, doesn't have the blade type for stabbing and impaling that he needs. He's gonna have to get in close, but the thing looks slow at any rate.
He just has to make sure it doesn't get a good grip on him.
With a few steps, he's within the circle of the regenerator's arms, stabbing with his knife at the nearest mass of wiggling squishing sounds from the parasites inside the thing. He might not miss, but he might be able to give it pause while he gets hold of his own IR viewer.
The blade sinks into the monster's grey flesh with a putrid spray of black blood and greenish ichor. And accompanying that stab is a thin squealing sound under the skin and a hiss of pain from the Regenerator. Looks like the knife met it's mark and killed off one of the many parasites in the creature.
It whirls around, however, with more speed than it was previously boasting, and attempts to grab hold of Derek in order to pull him closer and take a bite out of him.
The source of that sickening gasping bursts into the room, pushing the door aside with Frankenstein strength.
And behind it...are four more, and they're closing in fast.
The first Regenerator doesn't appear to have a specific target in mind, but the other four move immediately toward Derek, Eiko, Custo and Ramon.

He normally prefers to use truck-stopping quantities, just to be on the safe side, but for now, it's perhaps better to conserve webbing.

Ah well. Those waldoes hit home, and the Regenerator wobbles. Lurches. Screams for a moment...
And then its upper torso explodes in a burst of yellow pus, leaving only the legs. Which sink to their knees and then fall over entirely.
