Arranging a little talk...

Dr. Bannister was surprised to recieve a phone call, even though she had left her number with Dr. Light some months earlier. She was even more surprised that the caller was Roll Light, and that she was calling from a payphone in the Nexus rather than risk her family overhearing.

She wanted to talk to Ice. After a while Dr. Bannister suggested Roll

*Blues slips into the room as quietly as possible, without knocking. Roll needed to be told that Rock knew she'd snuck out again.*

*He sees they're both asleep and, after gesturing to someone waiting in the hall, waits for either to wake up.*

*Elec's not sure about being here and hopes he won't have any problems leaving again. He doesn't even know why Blues tracked him down in the Nexus and was insistant about his coming along on this trip, until he steps into the room. For a moment he just stares*

*Roll doesn't wake, only snuggles Ice closer.*

*Well, that adds a new wrinkle. Good thing forgery isn't all that difficult when you're a robot. Hunting down pen and paper, Blues makes up a quick note that appears to be from Roll, saying that she's gone to the Mall for a few hours.*

*He leaves a second note for Roll letting her know that Rock and Dr. Light have noticed she snuck out again and are overreacting, and that when she gets home to say that she's been at the mall and that she left a note. He'll take care of 'finding' the note.*

*That done, he slips out of the room, leaving Elec alone with Ice and Roll.*

*Well, this is awkward. Elec wasn't sure he could trust Roll's intentions after all this time, and the scene made him vaguely uneasy because of that.*

*There was also the problem of having come here. Technically, it wasn't against orders, but knowing that the people who ran this place were behind Ice's earlier disapparance was an uncomfortable thought. What if they had some way to knock him out and tamper with his programming?*

*He sat down on the floor, leaning against the side of the bed. He'd wait a little while to see if either of them would wake up, and after that he was out of this creepy place.*

*Ice is still soundly asleep - perhaps being snuggled by Roll is helping him rest and relax.*

*Roll isn't likely to wake either, despite her odd position, almost half on the bed by now.*

*Elec's never excelled in staying still for very long. He soon gets up again, watching them sleep for a little while.*

*The scene was cute, sure... but he was still suspicious. Roll had shoved them away for twenty years - an amount of time he only knew by checking the calendar. Long 'naps' in the Gallery made it seem like less time to him.*

*Why would she be snuggled next to Ice and taking a nap now? After all this time? Was it just because they'd managed to corner her in the Nexus without Rock to 'remind' her of the 'monsters' they'd become?*

*It wasn't as if they'd had much opportunity to speak to her at all since. And she wouldn't talk to them right after.*

*And if it's not a trick, what does that mean. Roll still lived with Dr. Light. And with Rock. And the next time things happened again, Megaman would show up to attack them. Blues seemed to manage to stay marginally neutral. It didn't seem as likely Roll could.*
