House Buying Update
We heard from our agent last night. She said that there are two other offers on the house right now and she’s not sure where we stand in relation to those. We already had to remove the flooring allowance thing and up our price by $1500 since we knew one of the other offers had topped us. It’s all in the seller’s banks’ courts right now (he has 2 he has to deal with). So I guess they’ll decide based on the dollar amount of the offers combined with who has the best chance of having their financing go through quickly (or at all). And since we’ve got our financing completely secured and ready to go, we have a pretty good chance if our offer was high enough. So we shall see.
Supposedly, we should know something tomorrow one way or the other. Now the nerves are REALLY setting in. We really love this house and location!
