Prompt: I think we're moving but we go nowhere.
Word Count: 100-400 words

Rules:
1. All drabbles must adhere to the WORD LENGTH REQUIREMENTS.
2. All drabbles must follow the PROMPT, though it is up to interpretation.
3. Do not post your drabbles until voting has finished and the results have been posted.
4. If you enter the challenge, you are required to vote.
5. You are not required to write the pairing in a romantic situation, but they must be the main characters. Please refrain from writing underage characters in romantic or sexual situations with adults.
6. There is a limit of 10 participants per round.

She stares at the quarter moon above him instead. The night is sharp and stings her arms with gooseflesh; it’s midnight and the sounds of the party she has slunk from, a bottle of Ogdens tucked in the folds of her dress, wafts from the open door framing his stiff body, casting him in a half-shadow she imagines as the black cloak she hates. The reason why their parents were never children and there are entire worlds of history in the space between them. <br /><br /> <i>How could you?</i> she demands. <br /><br /> He smiles slowly, an uneven curving of thin lips belying the acerbic taint of his thoughts, even if his face is still that smooth, aristocratic blankness. <i>You’ll have to be more specific.</i> <br /><br /> She doesn’t know how anyone can conceal so much vitriol in eight syllables, but it lingers in the cool air and snaps against her skin, streaking her cheeks red. <br /><br /> Then she says, <i>Of all of them, it’s you I hate the most</i>, and a blond brow arches and he gives her his full attention for the first time. <i>Knowing what your father went through, how could you join them? Voldemort’s gone!</i> <br /><br /> He gives a bark of laughter, and leans an elbow against the door jamb, rigid posture melting into a slouch of condescension. <i>Some things are never over. War’s coming. Don’t delude yourself that you won’t have to choose sides.</i> <br /><br /> <i>It’s not too late.
