Someone actually likes my writing.

Oh wow. So there's this after hours event thing at Chatham every so often called Spit Reel that's run by the undergrad Creative Writing club. People can submit pieces of writing and they choose something like three readers to present their work. I submitted something just for shits and giggles, not thinking anything more about it. It's a silly humor story about zombies so I figured that wasn't really what would be wanted, since most of the creative writing folks I've come across at this school try to be all meaningful and serious and deep because art.

Strangely enough I just got an email that I was chosen to be a featured reader. They actually said they loved the piece. That just kind of made my day.

So yeah, I guess I'll be reading a piece of my writing to a public audience on Feb 6th.

Crazy.
