(no subject)
i had work today from 10-6 so i had planned for my mother to wake me up at around 8.30. but i got woken up at 8 by the phone ringing, so i decided to put the tv on and realised the f1 qualifying was on. so i got up and had a shower in order for me to miss some of q1 but none of q2 and q3. its nice to finally see lewis up where he should be and the car performing like it should. but i was pissing myself when just before the end all the timing equipment stopped and you could see all the drivers trading their times among each other trying to figure out who had gotten pole. made me giggle too when jenson button told fernando his time and fernando had gotten a time nearly a second quicker and right in front of the cameras jenson then proceded to say 'fucking hell' haha i love it when people do that. makes them seem so much more 'real'... also i loved sebbie vettels new haircut. but tomorrow should be an interesting race...hoping seb and lewis can get past alonso, because if he stays first he is going to bugger up their race quite a bit me thinks.
so work was soo slow. i mean summer is bad enough because everyone goes off on holiday around now. but yesterday and today was what we call the 'sidewalk sale'. most of the stores have a couple of tables outside selling things, we didn't but we did have everything in the shop 20% off. 20% off and it was still the quietest day we've had since i've been back working, which is 3 weeks now. it was terrible. me and tracey (one of the girls i work with) spent the last 45 minutes playing solitaire on the computer because no one came in the shop in the last hour.
another random note... csi new york is pretty good. i had always vowed never to watch csi miami or new york, being a massive las vegas fan, but i've watched a couple of the new york episodes now and i have been pretty impressed... plus eddie cahill is pretty damn fit! haha so vein!
