Today was rather interesting. I woke up around eleven, got online and turned on the PS2. Did the regualr thing while eating a pepperoni strombolli. I got a call from JC telling me that his friend that I know Russell was going to pick me up and drive me to the Navy Medical center to get a cheap hair cut. It was a normal trip, both of us just talking about guy stuff. (No, it's not juicy and only one short conversation was about girls just in case you all were wondering. Not like you actually were or anything. *Dripping with partial sarcasm*) Anyway, upon finding a parking spot and walking in, Russell pulls out a white thing the size of an ipod mini. I asked him what it was and he demonstrated by blowing into it. I said, "Oh, it's some kind of recorder?" he says, "Nope, but it still says that I'm pretty soused right now." (Layman terms: He was partially intoxicated)
That's just the beginning though. So, the three of us ate at subway and then I got my haircut. I thought JC would give me a ride back, but he just handed me a couple of bucks and told me to ride the bus. No biggy. Unfortunately, he gave me some informaiton on getting out of the med center that were less than clear. This led up to the major part of the day.
So I was wandering around Navy Med. Must I also state that this is the same place where all major political figures, injured military, and other important leaders get their medical treatment. Yes, this is where Pres. Bush gets his medical checkups and crazy pills. Anyway, I wandered around for about the total time of an hour and a half. With my luck, I accidentally wandered into a restricted area. With the elevated security alert (thank you Al-Qaeda), I was approached by three guards. Two approached me while the third held his rifle up at me from about 15 feet. Quite interesting and somewhat well, not really scary, but whatever you classify that feeling as. Let's classify it as feeling X. Luckily I wasn't shot on the spot and the two guards just showed my way out. I rode the bus home and that was the climax really.
Okay, this paragraph you all will probably ignore considering that it isn't that interesting compared to the escapade explained in the last paragraph, but I don't care if it's not exciting because I think so and because I know you all have nothing better to do then to read this because I'm so cool. Upon returning home, I finished the DVD and the book I was supposed to for tommorow's SCUBA course (Thank you God.). That was a pain. Also, the weight training I'm doing right now is starting to pat off. I did 92 flippin' sit ups today! That's so flipin awesome with flippin' flippin'ness. I should get to bed now though because I have to wake up at 6:30 for my classes and being there late wouldn't be too good.
