Let me try this...

Currently the poll is in favor of the Middle Linebacker postion by 2 (3 if you count the deall I passed with Cassandra). The polls will shut at the end o the week people. Remember, free Escalades with spinners and fish tanks. (Except for a regular Escalade for Bri and a BMW z3 Roadster for Cassandra.)

Anyway, I wanted to try my hand at a little writing (technicly typing, but who cares about the difference?) I usually stay in the Fantasy genre, but I think tonight I'll type up a little something in the more modern day non-fiction area. A little bit of my life may show up on it so don't be surprised. So sit back relax (get some popcorn) and read this or get the flechy off of the comp:

"It's in the key of E huh?" Dan thought to himself as he stood there trying to put together a little something in front of the audience as he stood there with some people that he barely knew. That was the problem with something like this, to chemistry between the performers meant that things would be unorganized.

This was just a passing thought through Dan's head as he started paying single notes in the background of the rest of the band. It was like a random jam session in front of the audience that was solely dedicated to cover songs of more newer age bands and a couple of older ones to mix it up.

You always got to throw in some older bands for respect.

Dan just went with it. He played where seemed appropriate and stopped when felt it was needed. It was hard just letting go and going wild though. Part of him wanted to show off and here the crowd scream like he had done before, but then again since he wasn't too well known of, he didn't want to look like an idiot. He hadn't picked up a guitar in months, but playing was like riding a bike so he never lost his touch.

The pseudo-band finished the song rather sloppily and Dan put the guitar down and left. He was beginning to feel stupid. He had to go anyway his ride was outside. Seeing the red mazda outside, Dan put his shoes on and left without saying goodbye to anyone. Who did he have to say a goodbye to?

Opening the door, Dan caught his friend Aden making out with his girlfriend again. "Jesus Christ man, I know I took a little bit of time getting out, but could you at least keep it in your pants until you drop me off? Oh, hi Marie."
Marie was a little on the short side, but was very attractive anyway. She was wearing a red top with hardly any back and tight low rise blue jeans. They were probably going to the club later.

Marie had a very embarassed look on her face as she sat up in the passenger seat and fixed her hair a little bit, "Oh yeah," she said as she realized that Dan had to sit up front. He was too tall to sit in the back with comfort. He had been that way since he suddenly shot up from about 5'2" in seventh grade to a whopping 6'3" in the matter of a month. Quite weird.

Shutting the car door and slouching back a little bit, Dan just looked around the car a bit without moving his head as Aden drove away and turned up the music. It was a mix he made a few months ago along with a couple of cd's he made for Dan just for the hell of it. Dan just kind of flowed with the music as Aden began to start up a conversation, "How was the party?"

Dan sighed, "What do you think? How well do you think I fit in with a bunch of people from the Drama club?"

Aden changed lanes as Marie said, "Weren't you part of Drama last year or something though? They should know you."

"Yeah, in middle school and beginning of freshman year. I quit before anyone got to know me" he said with eyes closed. The car went silent as Aden sped throught the streets at two in the morning. The roads were slightly wet from the rain a few hours ago and the streets light reflected a little bit off of the pavement as they passed by. The rest of the trip went uneventful as Aden stopped in Dan's driveway. "See you man." he said as Dan got out and pulled the seat forward to let Marie get in the front seat. Before letting Marie sit down however, Dan smirked a little bit as he put his head in the car and said, "Hey Aden, don't get caught with you're girl again tonight. Get a room for that sort of thing."

Aden cuffed him in the head as Marie laughed a little bit and kicked him in the side of his leg, "Shutup Daniel!" She always called him Daniel despite the fact that that always pissed him off whenever someone else called him that. Dan looked back at the car as Aden was backing up and made a shrugging 'I don't know' gesture and then opened up the door to get inside.

Greeting the dog at the door by rubbing behind his ears, he turned off the outside light that his parents had left on for him and walked to his room. He turned on the stereo and lowered the volume as not to wake his parents. It suddenly dawned on him that he would be getting up early in the morning, but didn't want to sleep.

What was this? Some Hendrix was playing right now. How convenient. Dan got out his electric guitar and started to play along without plugging it in. This song was stuck in his head all day.

If you didn't like it then whatever. I felt like writing.
