Got our attendance and grade reports today. I guess you could call them report cards, but they call them by acronyms SAPS and SARS, which I have no idea what they mean, but anywho....
100% attendance
4.0 GPA
Yay!!
Now if I can just maintain that 4.0 through this last quarter. Several of the teachers have warned us that it has ruined many a 4.0 student. Yikes!
Near the end of my first quarter my massage teacher asked if I would be interested in being a tutor. They apparently have a paying position they offer to students that are recommended by a teacher. I checked into it, but they required a minimum number of hours per week of being there at school, in addition to classes, which would mean quite a few late nights and time there on my otherwise days off. So I didn't pursue it. It is something I would enjoy, but I'd rather be able to do it when I want, not when they dictate it. So today I talked with the faculty administrator and told her that I would still be interested in helping out, just not as the paid tutor position. I told her if she would just let the faculty know that if they see a student struggling and think they need help that they can give them my name to call and I will see about setting up study sessions with them. I think it will help me as well, as it will keep me fresh on the basic subjects and protocols.
I'm killing some time before Sean gets home from school and then we are going out to a club with some friends again. We don't have school tomorrow and there's no cover tonight so figure it's a good opportunity to go hang out again. Of course, the guys are excited that there is supposed to be a wet t-shirt contest also. Hmmmm....should I enter? ROFL!
Since we're on the subject of going out, here's a few fun pics from last Saturday night when we went out. We have classified it as basically a total boob fest. LOL
